Whirlwind Romance - [Poem]

One fateful day
Two strangers met
With three words to say
Their eyes have met and
Their souls got connected
Within just a few moments,
It feels like a lifetime
Beginning of a "Once upon a time".

Four days passed
Five meetings done
Six in the morning
Woke up with huge smiles on their faces
It was a great night they have shared
Cherishing every second like there will be no another
Holding one another like there will be no tomorrow
Hoping for tomorrow that this would be the future
Future is not on their hands.

Seven continuous arguments
Eight things left
Nine in the evening
The shining and shimmering feelings they have
Are slowly fading away
Like a candle flickered in the wind and went out
Like a tick of a clock that you can't get back
Like a broken glass that fixing is impossible
They ended it, it was too soon.

Ten months passed
Going eleven
Waiting for twelve to pass by
Nothing happened but moving out
Far from the reach of each other as days passes by
Not believing anymore to "destiny" craps
For they found out it was just a scam
Little did they know.

Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen
Counting and counting
That is the time when they realized
They need each other
They want each other
They miss each other
They love each other
Like crazy.

One fateful day

Tears flowed out from each other's eyes
There are no words coming out
Except for the words, "Happily ever after".
